RECENT EVENTS
Ribbon Cutting
Riverbend Counseling celebrated the exciting occasion of its official Ribbon Cutting on April 2, 2026. While Riverbend has been serving children since September 2025, this special event provided an opportunity to officially introduce the organization to the community and share its mission of bringing hope and healing to Tangipahoa Parish and the surrounding areas.
It was truly an incredible day as the Riverbend team was introduced and welcomed guests gathered for the celebration. Dr. Mary Emily Leavell and Lead Counselor & Trauma Specialist Cindy Brown shared a deeper understanding of the growing needs facing children in our community and explained how the nonprofit is working to bring hope, healing, and lasting change to families across the region.
